each summer, is by far the most popular marine application for Apple
and Android devices. The addition of "live"AIS
support, will make the app an even more powerful navigation tool,
giving you instant situational awareness of "what the big ships
are doing" which in bad weather or poor visibility can bea godsend.
If you are in the market
for a new AIS receiver or transponder, then choosing a wireless model
from Digital Yacht will ensure that it alsoworks
with your Navionics App. Alternatively, if you are one of thelarge number of boat owners that already have a
perfectly good AIS device, but no Wi-Fi interface, then adding one of
Digital Yacht's wireless NMEA servers will enable your existing AIS to
